I have to say, my feelings about Valentine’s Day are beginning to change.
I used to be one of those super anti-Valentine’s Day people. Like, when people would ask me what my husband and I were doing for Valentine’s Day, I’d scoff and be like, uh, nothing, because it’s stupid. And it is stupid, actually, on a lot of levels.
They say it's the thought that counts, but sometimes it can be hard to see past a truly terrible gift.
Come February 14th, there's a ton of pressure on men to get just the right thing for the lucky lady in their life.
While they might not be the most creative choices - flowers and chocolates are usually a safe bet (unless your special someone is allergic to flowers and/or chocolate). And of course, it's hard to go wrong with jewelry.
If you are like me, you have more than one sweetheart to think about on Valentine's day. I'm talking about your kids!
This sweet holiday is geared towards loved ones, so why not include your little ones? I find it more difficult each year to find something more than pure dose of sugar. So I am always on the look out for cute and unique finds.
