A 33-year-old man from Tennessee with 30 children appeared in court this week to ask the state for child-support help.
Desmond Hatchett owes money to 11 different women for the 30 children he’s fathered - believed to be a record in Knox county. The youngest are toddlers, the oldest is 14.
“I had four kids in the same year. Twice," he told WVLT-TV back in 2009. “I didn’t intend to have this many children. It just happened.”
