Ok fellow mommies - I’m in back-to-school hell!
Summer vacation’s over. The kids are back in school and need you to drive ‘em around to their various and sundry activities which wind up sucking up a ton of your family’s free weekend time. So what about you? Don’t you get to start off fresh and with a chance to get excited about something new, even if you’re not the one who’s getting a new lunchbox, magic markers which smell like fruit (and haven’t yet run dry) and back-to-school clothes?
As moms and mompreneurs, we are faced with constant decision making. I've questioned myself many times on how to make the best decisions especially when I have to decide quickly.
I much prefer to be able to mull things over, contemplate during a yoga class or a long walk, think about the various scenarios, etc...but most of the time we don't have that luxury. These days we need to act at the speed of technology. People want answers fast, and I must admit that I do work at a fast pace, but it's been responsible for some haphazard decisions.
Fairly harmonious are the very early days of September, coming off of the new moon of August 28th, which always sets the pace for the following 14 days. The nice relationship of planets in earthy signs bodes well for birthdays on or near the first days of September, January and May.

Today was a beautiful day here in Sedona and great to take some time to get out of my head. As I walked along humming a new little tune, I let go of the flurry of thoughts that had been running through my mind about different projects I’ve had in the works. (Yes, even I can sometimes over-think things! We’re all human, right?) It felt amazing to be in the moment and feel creatively inspired. As I was getting ready for bed, I thought about the impact that songwriting and music has had on my life.
