Nintendo Selects - Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin 2

This article is a sponsored post for Nintendo Selects.

With school coming to a close and the kids suddenly having way more energy than you remember them ever having, the obvious choice is to set them loose in the backyard.

But what about when summer storms keep little ones inside and underfoot?

Keep your kids entertained with Nintendo Selects - a collection of games for Wii like Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin 2. With a suggested retail prices of $19.99, these games are easy on the wallet and fun for the whole family.

Mario Power Tennis

This new interactive game is part of Nintendo Selects and combines the fun of Wii Tennis with the lovable characters and storylines of Mario Kart AND it keeps your kids up and moving around.

Everyone from Mushroom Kingdom is competing against each other. Pick your favorite Nintendo character (Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Princess Peach, Koopa Troopa, and many more) - but choose wisely, as each character has special powers that they bring to their tennis game.

Your little ones will get a kick out of using their special powers to slip up the other characters, set the ball aflame, and turn their racket into a mallet. Not to mention, there are loads of different courts to play on like Peach Dome or Luigi’s Mansion. Each court has a different challenge that adds another dimension of silliness to the already crazy game. And best of all, you can play with 1 to 4 players so it’s perfect for family game night.

Pikmin 2

With the newest game in the Nintendo Selects line, your kids will love helping brave Captain Olimar and his faithful sidekick Louie salvage treasures and return them to their home planet.

Players control the hundreds of tiny Pikmin that assist Olimar and Louie (who aren't very big themselves) as they collect valuable items like old shoestrings and other forgotten remnants of human origin. It's kind of like Ariel's fork collection in the Little Mermaid.

The multi-player option means that your kids can team up or face off in the wild and parents will love the strategy and problem-solving skills that players hone while searching for treasure.
