Steph's Summer Salad

This is my favorite signature summer salad. The sweet and savory combo is delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag organic romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 green apple
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup shaved almonds
  • Chinese chicken salad dressing OR balsamic vinaigrette

Directions:

Rip lettuce (ripping lettuce, rather than cutting it, prevents the edges from turning brown). Rinse your lettuce, and spin it dry.

Cut apple into thin slices. Add apple slices, cranberries, blue cheese, and almonds to lettuce, and toss it all together.

Add dressing of your choice and enjoy!
