Tuna Fish Salad - A Family Favorite
Try this delicious meal or healthy snack that the whole family will love. The recipe can be used for a dip, salad, sandwich or lettuce wraps. Versatile, tasty and nutritious.
Tuna
Use three 12 ounce cans of chunk light tuna in water
Celery
Chop up 5 celery spears
Mayo
5 Tablespoons of light mayonnaise
Mustard
2 Tablespoons of Dijon mustard
Almonds
1/4 cup raw sliced almonds
Add A Little
salt and pepper to taste.
Mix It Up!
Drain the cans of tuna, add all of the ingredients and mix thoroughly together.
Serve With
Serve this tasty salad with celery and carrot sticks or baked pita chips.
Another Family Favorite
Make it a tuna melt. Take 2 slices of rye bread, add a slice of provolone cheese and a scoop of tuna fish blend. Toast on a Panini machine for 2 minutes or on a broiler or toaster oven.
Even Healthier Option
Make lettuce boats with leaves from romaine lettuce. Scoop tuna blend in the lettuce and enjoy.
