Meditation became a regular part of my daily routine a few years ago. I decided to give it a fair shot and committed myself to 1 month of daily meditation with an open mind, knowing that after trying it for a full month I would then decide whether or not it was beneficial for me. I’ve never looked back. Now meditation is a highlight in my day.
When I meditate the feeling of peace washes over me. I relax fully, and detach from stress and negativity. I allow myself to be truly who I am in a state of blissful love. If I could give one gift to the world it would be the gift of meditation. It is the best way I know how to connect with my authentic self; to hear what my heart truly wants, to heal and to rejuvenate my mind and body.
It took a full month of daily dedication to begin to see the tip of the iceberg of benefits meditation provides. A couple of years now into my practice and my love for meditation grows stronger day by day. I’m no expert on meditation, but you don’t need to be to reap the deep rewards. Allow yourself the gift of a few minutes of your undivided love each day, and feel how it transforms your life.
