In grade school, we experienced the extreme highs and lows of friendship, and probably broke up with at least one friend as a result. Friend break-ups are tough at any age, and are certainly not exclusive to our school years.
But how do you handle a friend break-up between two parents whose kids are friends?
Most parents want to play an active role in their child’s learning. From the day they are born they try to teach them to crawl, walk, speak and eventually, to become educated.
I love my kids’ teachers. I really do. They work so hard and they care so much and they’ve been nothing but amazing this entire school year.
So I’m not blaming them for the onslaught of time-intensive end of the year activities that always take place in June. I’m really not.
If you're in the mood for something sweet, but don't want to break your diet - you're not alone!
But don’t worry, this delicious treat will not only quench a sweet tooth craving with a small amount of calories... it's also full of healthy antioxidants, nutrients and fiber and it will give you an energy boost to boot!
Since I started my adventure in motherhood back in 2010, I've always had a goal to keep things "strong" -- physically, emotionally and mentally.
Don't get me wrong, I've had my share of mommy-meltdowns, but I remember admiring how strong my own mom was raising my sister and me.
A friend turned me on to this blog, The Happy Wives Club, and I can't get enough of it.
Today I'm drowning, trying to manage the end of the year chaos. The last day of school can't come soon enough, it s been a hectic year with four kids and four schools to juggle.
Between 15 candles, gift cards and handwritten notes to all the people who have influenced my children this year, it's been a bit overwhelming to say the least.
Relationships are hard. I have tried and failed at some myself along the way. Relationships + parenting: even harder. It's time to discuss the one thing that no one told you to plan for; that one thing that was not on your registry. Baby proofing your marriage!

The kids are out of school, the sun is shining and summertime is here. But if you're like many parents, myself included, those blissful summer musings quickly turn to panic at the realization that all those hours have to be filled.
