I’m sitting in the waiting room of a child educational therapist’s office, waiting for my daughter to complete her evaluation. I am writing this blog with no shame, only faith and commitment to giving my children the best possible life.
I’m a relaxed mother, sometimes maybe too much so. I try never to panic and I have been forced to learn how to cope with the unexpected.
So when the head of their school told me just weeks before the school year's end that there would NOT be a class to offer my younger children next year (due to lack of students), I didn’t throw a private school parent tantrum. I believe that life throws you curve balls from time to time, and what matters most is how you decide to play them.

Ok fellow mommies - I’m in back-to-school hell!
I’m totally ringing in the last days of summer, and sad to see this one end. It’s been action packed, full of surprises, new friends and great memories. Last weekend we took it to a new level and decided to show our kids another extreme. We camped out on a beach in Malibu! I know camping isn’t for everyone - trust me, most of our friends passed - but I am always up for an adventure.
We're all the same boat. Back-to-school chaos can stress any mommy out. The only way I can manage my kids is if I'm a super-organized mom!
