Getting kids to eat a healthy meal, or in many cases, to eat at all can be tricky.
When it comes to satisfying the many different tastes each of my children have, I need to be healthy, conscious and creative.
OMG, stay-cations are easier said than done. I thought I had a brilliant idea this summer to NOT travel, save some money and plan the festivities in house.
The biggest challenge isn't planning and using your imagination, but making the commitment to take REAL time off - which means no busy work and a tech break.
Back to school starts now in my house even though all four of my kids are returning at different times. This year will be my most challenging school year yet. Four kids in three different schools with four different drop-off and pick-up times.
Thankfully my youngest, Shaya, will still enjoy our beloved homeschool for two days a week. We decided to put him in a “regular” program three days a week so he’ll be with more kids as his sister is moving up to kindergarten.
Amen, sister Baboosh Babe Kristen! I love a women who tells it like it is, and I love a woman who is in touch with her she-wolf!
No, I haven’t succumbed to the totally non-realistic world of TV Housewives!
I saw a Viddy that Katie Couric posted, with a snapshot of her new show and a “Bucket List” concept that she planned to shoot.
I just finished a great brainstorming meeting with Sony. They produced my first two fitness DVDs and we are ready to start developing my next two. I have spent the last year working out in a different way than ever before. Training to fatigue!
I'm so excited for the Dancing with the Stars all-star cast reveal!
At this point, I have no idea what the game plan is for the all-star season. It could be returning champions, could be partner-swapping, could be fan favorites or favorites who were eliminated too soon.
Thank you so much for all your love, support and positive feedback regarding my thyroid biopsy. My results are a bit vague, to say the least.
My biopsy reports came back “Atypical.” I have been doing A LOT of research and I am still learning, but to the best of my knowledge what that means is more doctors, second opinions and more tests in the next weeks.
Sometimes a familiar place becomes one to cherish and remember. David and I took the kids to Vegas, yes kids can do Sin City!
We had the BEST time doing all the touristy stuff that we probably would have missed on our own. The kids had a blast! My sister and niece joined us. We all dreamed of swimming with dolphins, who would have thought our wish would be granted in Nevada!
