In today’s world, we all know the basics of how to get fit: eat right, make good choices, and maintain balance. And if you don’t know the basics, then the resources for learning them are endless - Internet, magazines, TV shows, and all the "helpful" advice of friends, loved ones, and complete strangers.
Real weight loss is a simple numbers game. Truly, it is “calories in” vs. “calories out” per day. To see results, you need to have between 200-500 more calories going out than coming in.

Fact #1: Most of us are aware of the benefits of stretching. It improves posture and circulation, prevents injury, releases endorphins and really only takes a few minutes to do.

For one reason or another, in the past couple of weeks, my life has been organized in a way where working out at home is really the only place I can squeeze in 30-45 min of workout time, then change my clothes and head out.
Here we are cruising along in our New Year’s fitness resolutions. The purpose behind the double lunch is to think of making 2 well rounded and satisfying meals in the middle of the day instead of one large meal, then a "snack" (which usually leaves you unsatisfied) before you hit dinner.
We watch celebs go through it, our friends and family members go through it, our co-workers, strangers, and sometimes we go through it ourselves. It’s the realization that we have a choice, we have power, we control whether we follow through with our own decisions. Once we grasp this, the transformation begins!
