Yesterday, my fiancé and I had a few friends over and watched the Olympics.

In the morning, we watched women’s water polo. Then later that evening, we watched diving, beach volleyball, and running. Running is kind of idiot-proof, when it comes to the results.

Before the games even started, we had our favorites picked for the finals and one of the obvious choices was gymnastics’ reigning world champion, Jordyn Wieber.

NBC dropped a whopping $1.18 billion for the rights to the Olympics this year, and has been working tirelessly to provide real-time online streaming as well as prime time high light coverage here in the United States.

Because of the time difference between us and London, most of the games happen in the middle of the night for us.
