Mother’s Day is almost here, and let’s face it, sometimes we like to give little “hints” to our loved ones about what special gifts we want for our special day! Or better yet, you can even treat yourself!
Now that we have kids, we don’t have as much extra spending cash like we used to. Raising a family is fantastic, but it brings on a lot of new expenses.
It’s completely worth it, but alas, I can’t help but miss buying little things for myself here and there on a whim. Now my goal is to always find that fantastic bargain - either great sales or great little finds. You know, those fantastic little treasures you always get compliments on, and you think to yourself, little do they know how much I spent on this!
A friend of mine emailed me a video about a female engineer, Debbie Sterling, who was raising money for her new company. Frustrated that the engineering industry was so male-dominated, she created a construction toy for little girls with the purpose of exposing them to the world of engineering.
The holidays are here again, and it’s time for some holiday shopping! I have put together a list of ten great gifts for kids that are fun, creative and many of them have been personally tested by my daughter!
