Women's Gymnastics All-Around - Gabby Douglas Wins Gold! [Updated]
Women's gymnastics all-around final is one of THE most exciting individual competition in the sport. After helping Team USA clinch gold in the team finals on Tuesday, two American women vied for the coveted title.
And for Gabby Douglas, the night was a dream come true.
The 16-year-old took the gold medal in the all-around, beating out Russia's Victoria Komova for the top spot.
"I was on the bus and it was raining and I thought, 'It's going to be a great day,' " she told PEOPLE. "My mom used to tell me when I was little, 'When it rains, it's God's manifestation, a big day's waiting to happen.' "

Aly Raisman, the other American contender, tied for third with Aliya Mustafina, but missed out on the bronze after tie-breaker rules gave the edge to the Russian gymnast.
