My children are pretty mellow, but like every other child, they have their limits and temper tantrums are inevitable. While on the train into work this morning I came across a mom who was having a "rough" morning. Her child was in no mood to be on the train and was giving her a really hard time.

Happy Valentine's Day! I have to say this is one of my favorite holidays all year. It's a day that celebrates love in every form - the love between husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, friendships and the love that bonds us as a family. There are so many different forms of love, it seems right to have a day to showcase that love.

I remember my first time using a computer. I was in kindergarten and the one we used (although it was very high-tech at the time) is what we now consider the "stone-age" version of a computer. Yes, the ones with the black and green screen. I still remember the so-called "game" our computer teacher used to teach us the proper keyboard positioning. I was pretty good at it!

I can’t tell you how much I love this time of year!  I’m not a summer person, I don’t particularly like the heat… sorry, it’s just not my thing.  I’m more of a 60 degree, light breeze {enough to layer up a little and add a cute scarf to you wardrobe}, cuddle up with a pumpkin spice latte and watch the autumn leaves type person.
