For the most part, our kids are pretty easy to feed. They usually eat the things that we put in front of them and if there's something new on their plate the rule is they have to at least try it, but they don't have to eat it if they don't like.
We all know how it feels - this sickening feeling in your stomach because your child fell from a tall playground structure and is crying very loud, losing your job, having family that has to move away from their home because the market crashed. But is this much worse than what the Japanese are going through with the terrible earthquake or the almost worse tsunami?
This morning we got out of bed and went downstairs to prepare breakfast. Our daughters were already up and dressed, which happens more frequently lately. If you are more like me, a total B person, then it is hard to get up in the morning and I enjoy my late evenings with my husband. So the girls get up a little before us and start playing or watches a few minutes of TV. Sometimes they dress themselves and sometimes they wait for us.
Summer is my favorite season because I love to eat outdoors! In my opinion, nothing beats the ambiance or the setting. There is just something about eating with nature as your décor, in the fresh summer air and while watching the sun setting, that can turn an ordinary evening at home into a very special one. My husband and girls are also huge fans of eating outside. You do not need to go far or even to have a big backyard; a simple balcony will do.
Most people are on-line now-a-days, some more than others. But I guess that is the problem.
What is time exactly? It represents something different to everybody. Try and explain something so intangible as time to your children and you will see the real challenge.
Happy New Year and all my best wishes to everyone in 2010.
Being a business owner has certain advantages, but it also carries risks. Having started my own business is really something that I always wanted to do and although it includes a lot of long hours, stress and headache, it is definitely a decision that I have never regretted.
