Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer while the warm breezes turn a bit cooler in the evenings, some of us may think that we ought to follow tradition such as stowing away those white heels after today. Well, here's my take on tradition when it comes to bridal showers and brides. Toss tradition to the wind and just let the bride decide!
If your Bride-to-Be has had her heart set on a springtime wedding ever since she was a little girl; yet, due to timing or circumstance she is getting married in the dead of winter, who says that she can't have her springtime shower? Girlfriends, times have definitely changed in the shower and party world! And for the best! These days we can do anything we want to and it is so liberating. These gorgeous sweet cherry blossoms are appearing everywhere. You'll notice the delicate branches and sweet floral designs are showing up from save-the-dates, invitations, decorations, edible favors, banners, tablecloths, soaps and candle favors. They are infused in bedsheets for the couple who loves the delicate Asian feel in their home décor, and wall prints.
The variety of designs will differ depending on where you shop. You may even have something in your own home already! If you are someone who already owns Asian artifacts such as tall vases, Buddhas, dragons or fans, all you may need for decoration are some faux cherry blossom branches, silk material or bamboo
or if you prefer to make something crafty yourself. Designs vary from realistic to somewhat animated and cutesy. If you are crafty, consider taking that long stroll in a nature park, gathering small twigs and branches; and later shopping for some paper floral cherry blossoms. Assembling at home with craft glue, bling and some sparkles, you'd make a fabulous handmade invitation, now wouldn't you?

The blossoms are a symbolic reference to life being to short lived and that one must not get attached to something for it will eventually come to an end. Fallen flower petals of this design are symbolic to that of the beauty of snow or it can relate to a youthful warrior who lost his life in the time of battle.
