Recently, I’ve been trying out GaiamTV. My husband and I are really into exercising at home, so GaiamTV is right up our alley. There are loads of exercise DVDs you can stream online, from Power Yoga with Rodney Yee to Jillian Michaels Extreme Shed and Shred. We were already fans of Rodney and Jillian’s workouts, and have some of their DVDs in our home collection.

I believe there are coincidences that happen each and every day. Coincidences that are there to guide and inspire us. Our lives have great meaning, and when we open ourselves up to that we are better able to live out our dreams. Think of loving energy surrounding you, and filling you from within. This loving energy wants to help you. Will you let it?
As a Mother, setting an example is something I am consciously aware of. When you are not thinking about it, it usually comes knocking on the door in the form of a mirror. When I can feel myself getting worked up inside, I take a deep breath and repeat a mantra.
Breathe in Love (as you breathe in deeply)
Breathe out Anxiety (as you exhale slowly)
You can replace the word anxiety with stress, frustration, anger, sadness or whatever you are feeling in the moment.
I was alone (it really does happen once in a while!) taking a shower. My son came bursting through the door shouting “There is a robber, there is a robber!” Visions of some guy at my window started flashing through my head. I thought I heard him correctly but I wanted to be sure, so I quickly turned off the water, and in my stylish pink shower cap asked him “Are you serious?”
Last week was one in which I struggled to make exercise a priority. It was a week where our afternoons were a little more hectic than usual from dentist appointments to swimming lessons, and preparing for Easter (last minute!) I try to keep our schedule from getting too crazy but it seems we all have weeks where we are busier than usual, or maybe a little more worn out.
