Sun Dried Tomato Spread

Hydrate tomatoes, drain. Place all ingredients together in Ziploc bag and refrigerate overnight (except cheese). Next day – put all ingredients from bag in food processor and coarsely chop. Spread over mix into cheese.

Enjoy with crackers and pitas!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces sundried tomatoes
  • 5 basil leaves
  • 2 parsley sprigs
  • 1 scallion coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Pinch sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 10 ounces goat or cream cheese
