Brooke Burke's DWTS Look - Season 14, Week 8by Marylin Lee
Marylin Lee is part of Brooke Burke's Glam Squad - the team responsible for taking her from "mom" to "fab" every week on Dancing with the Stars. Here are some of her expert beauty tips on how you can get Brooke's look:
The first thing I do when I begin Brooke's makeup is apply eye patches. One of the brands I like is the Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels. These help tighten and de-puff the under eye area, and feel great!
Tip: Apply the eye patches, then do the eye makeup (before doing the rest of the face) - this not only allows the adequate time for the patches to work, but will catch any eye shadow that might fall on to the face. When you remove the patches, the area is clean and ready for foundation and concealer.
Brooke's look this Monday was very simple. All tones were in the coral/apricot family. However, I did use a fancy eyelash, since this is Dancing with the Stars after all! I found this fantastic eyelash at Sephora called "Mink." It looks intimidating in the package, but is quite pretty on the eye.
Tip: Strip lashes are not one size fit all! You may need to trim the width (band) of the eyelash to accommodate the width of your eye.
