Congresswoman Michele Bachmann announced Monday that she is running for President in 2012. The Minnesota representative is the first woman to enter the 2012 race.
She announced her bid during a Republican presidential debate in New Hampshire. In a fundraising letter sent less than an hour after she announced her candidacy, she wrote: "We cannot risk giving President Obama four more years to dismantle our nation. We must act now. That’s why I’ve made the decision to get in this race."
The congresswoman is attempting to make a tough transition from the House of Representatives to the Presidency. Do you think she’s a credible contender?
