Olympic Fashion: Team USA Gear

The 2012 Olympics are almost here!  Everyone is ready for the games to begin!  The USA team uniforms are making big news, before the games have even started, though. Ralph Lauren has designed all the official team uniforms and stylish Olympic gear for USA fans to purchase.

However, when the first pictures of the uniforms were launched and shown on news programs like the Today show, and online at ralph lauren.com Americans did not love the European look.

Americans are known for wearing baseball caps, rather than the beret that we saw swimmer Ryan Lochte modeling for the official Team USA opening parade uniforms. The biggest concern for Americans though, is that the uniforms were made in China!!

Seriously, the official Team USA uniforms were not even made in the USA!! The question I have is how not one PR person over in Ralph Lauren thought that this wouldn’t give people something to talk about.

Whatever your issues are on where the uniforms were made, we still need to support our team! This is a time when the entire nation can cheer for one team. Put away your favorite team jerseys and put on your team USA gear starting now. Get your family ready for the Olympics opening ceremony on July 27th!
