Family Asks For Cards for 8-Year Old with Terminal Cancer

Ethan Wudyka has terminal cancer and he’s only 8 years old. He was diagnosed in February with Gliomatosis Cerebri, an extremely rare form of terminal brain cancer. There is no cure.

His incredible family and friends formed a group called “Ethan’s Army” to support Ethan with his cancer battle.

The thing that Ethan loves the most is receiving mail – not email, but real cards in the mail. Darlene Bassett, Ethan’s neighbor, told WNEM that “It don’t matter what mail he gets, how tired he gets, he will sit and look at all that mail.”

Ethan’s army has named Dec.19th as “Ethan’s Day” and is hoping to give him hundreds of cards from people all over the world on that day to help lift his spirits and motivate him to continue his fight.

Please send Ethan a card to:

Ethan’s Army
3710 South Isabella Road, Apt. 203
Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858

WNEM reports he likes SpongeBob and jokes.

They have also set up a Facebook page for him and he loves seeing the ‘likes’ and comments.

Please help support Ethan and his family. My kids and I are all making cards this weekend.
