Megan Fox's Brachydactyly Causes Super Bowl Controversy
Megan Fox starred in a Motorola phone commercial during Sunday's Super Bowl. The famously sexy actress was in a bathtub, but interestingly enough, the bubble bath is not the root of controversy. Rather, her thumbs are.
Fox suffers from brachydactyly, better known as clubbed thumbs. Her clubbed thumbs were public knowledge. However, in the commercial, Fox's thumbs were long and slender. Yes, Fox used a thumb double. In addition, her famous Marilyn Monroe tattoo was airbrushed out of the commercial.
It is reported that Motorola paid between $2 and $3 million for the advertising slot. An estimated 90 million people may have viewed it. At least people are talking about the commercial-even if they aren't focused on Megan or the phone but on a mystery woman's thumb.
