All New York City Schools will be closed on Wednesday. New York is expecting a storm that is predicted to bring between 8 and 13 inches of snow.
Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education Joel Klein said in a statement, “While travel conditions to school in the morning may not be difficult, the weather is expected to worsen as the day progresses, complicating dismissal. We are making this decision today to give parents as much time as possible to make alternative plans for tomorrow.”
In addition, the Federal Government was shut down Monday and Tuesday of this week due to weather conditions.
