Kentucky Woman Has a Surprise Baby!
A 32-year-old Kentucky woman, who didn't know she was pregnant delivered a baby last Thursday, March 4. Kelly Bottom felt some pain in her abdomen while working around the house Thursday afternoon. The pain kept growing stronger until she realized she was in labor! She delivered her new baby on the bathroom floor. She even cut the umbilical cord herself.
Instead of calling 911, she remembered that she had to pick up her other 7-year-old child from school. Her husband, who was a work, was unable to pick up the phone. So she went to pick up the child herself! She then drove to her mother's house and went to the hospital.
The new baby boy weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. According to the Examiner, doctors say that the boy, named Brian Keith Sims, is progressing normally.
Wow! What a story!
