No Cause Found Linking Pampers Dry Max Diapers to Diaper Rash
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Healthy Canada (HC) has reviewed several incident reports involving diaper rash and Pampers Dry Max diapers, but has not found a concrete link. The companies are still investigating the issue, evaluating everything from the construction of the diaper to the moisture retention issues.
Between April 2010 and August 2010, CPSC received approximately 4,700 incident reports about this issue.
Most babies experience diaper rash at least once in their lifetime. CPSC suggests discontinuing use of a specific diaper if it is believed to be causing diaper rash and contacting a pediatrician.
