"Transformers 3" Extra Gabriela Cedillo Undergoes Brain Surgery After On-Set Injury

An extra was seriously injured during the filming of Michael Bay's "Transformers 3" in Indiana Wednesday.

The extra was flown to a nearby hospital with serious head injuries.

UPDATE:

The extra has been identified as 24-year-old Gabriela Cedillo, a bank teller turned aspiring actress.

Witnesses say that a tow cable that was pulling her car snapped and whipped around, smashing the windsheld and slicing through her skull.

She underwent brain surgery at the hospital. Word is that Gabriela is in stable condition.

Filming on the set was cancelled that day. Other extras say they had to sign a nondisclosure agreement, but nothing related to the studio's liability in case of an accident.
