Breast Milk Baby Toy Coming to America
Introducing the Breast Milk Baby.
This new doll includes a halter top for children to wear, with two flowers that symbolize breasts. When the doll's mouth is placed close to the flowers, it makes a sucking sound indicating that it is drinking milk. In addition, the doll continues to cry after "breastfeeding" until it is burped.
The doll was created by Berjuan Toys, a Spanish toy manufacturer, to simulate the breastfeeding process. Dennis Lewis, an American representative for the toy company explains, "the whole purpose behind a doll is to pretend like you’re a parent." He went on to say, "the dolls are meant to just let kids play as mommies and daddies naturally.”
