Sir Elton John Will Attend Royal Wedding
Though we previously reported that Sir Elton John would not be attending the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, it seems the legend has changed his mind upon receiving an invitation!
"We do have an invitation," the singer revealed to Canada's CTV. "I’ve been trying to be discreet."
He also shared his thoughts on the Prince's future wife, saying that she "is Diana in personality. She is very discreet, she is a very beautiful girl. They have been together a long time and I think she has handled the pressure so much."
Describing the dashing Prince William as having "one of the hardest jobs in the world", he also admitted that he hopes Wililam will become King at an early age. "I think we need young people like him to lead. I think he will be a tremendous king--not that Charles won't, but I think William will be … tremendous," the singer gushed.
Not that his opinion matter muchs, but he also shared his feelings on William giving Kate his mother's sapphire and diamond engagement ring. "It is none of my business," he said, "but I thought it was a little odd."
