Today is National Tell a Joke Day!
Growing up doesn't have to mean forgetting the fun of a good knock-knock joke! August 16th is National Tell a Joke Day - so take a minute to lighten up :)
Not only will sharing a laugh with your friends, family, and co-workers lighten your mood, it’s good for you, too! Studies have shown that there is a strong correlation between laughter and good heart health. (And chocolate, too!)
And research has also shown positive affects on the immune system from ‘mirthful laughter’ and humor. "Biomarkers of immune function and stress hormones are all positively affected in the context of humor," according to a recent article in The Galveston Daily News.
