This is a Real Thing: The "Manzilian" Manscaping Trend
It's pretty normal for women to wax their eyebrows, their legs, and their bikini lines. Others even take it a step further and get a Brazilian wax (for those who aren't familiar with the term, think "bare floors").
But these days, they aren't the only ones who are going all the way when it comes to hair removal. Men are jumping on the Brazilian bandwagon, sometimes even paying twice as much to get what's being call a "manzilian."
What does that mean?
As to Linda Garcia, wax specialist at We Wax in San Antonio, TX told CBS affiliate KENS 5:
"Everything front back and in between."
Yikes.
The staff told reporters that they are seeing more male athletes and professionals who are booking bikini wax appointments, many of whom request the manzilian service.
"It's a Brazilian, but for a man," Garcia said.
But while women pay $48 for a full wax at Garcia's salon, men are charged nearly twice as much ($70) to go hairless. And the price isn't the only thing that hurts. "Women are much tougher than men we know!" Garcia added.
Darn straight. I'd like to see a man wear Spanx and four-inch heels on a regular basis, let alone the fact that women do all the hard work when it comes to childbirth.
What do you think of this new trend? Do you know any men who get waxed?
