Rob Kicks Kristen Out - and He's Keeping the Dog!
As you probably know, Hollywood’s favorite vampiric couple - Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson - hit the skids after news broke that she had a romantic liaison with the director of "Snow White and the Huntsman," Rupert Sanders.
Despite Stewart’s groveling apology for her actions, it seems that Pattinson has no intentions of taking her back. He left the $6 million Los Angeles home they shared and hasn't commented to reporters on the situation.
On Monday, People Magazine reported that Pattinson had asked Stewart to move out of their home. The website also posted photographs of a U-Haul in the driveway of their home.
Now, according to RadarOnline.com, the couple is locked in a custody battle over Bear, the mutt they adopted together from a high-kill New Orleans animal shelter.
An insider told the website that Stewart "was heartbroken - they adopted Bear together and she always felt that he was their little baby," but it looks like Sparkles is all out of sympathy points.
And it looks like the question of "who gets the dog" has become an increasingly serious matter. According to MercuryNews, Santa Monica-based divorce attorney David Pisarra told the Associated Press this past February that his office has seen an increase of as much as 15% in pet custody cases over the past five years.
It seems unlikely that these two will work things out, although they are slated to co-present at the MTV’s Music Awards this September... and don't forget about the upcoming Twilight press tour. That should be awkward.
