Texas Father Kills 4-Year-Old Daughter's Alleged Molester

What would you do if you caught someone sexually abusing your four-year-old daughter? What if you knew the perpetrator?

In the town of Shiner, Texas, one father took the law into his own hands when he found his daughter being sexually abused in a horse barn. Neither of the involved parties’ names have been released publicly at this time, but it is known that the perpetrator regularly helped the victim’s father tend his horses.

When the victim’s 23-year-old father caught the perpetrator, age 47, abusing his daughter, he hit him in the head several times, causing the abuser to lose consciousness. The perpetrator died from blunt-force injuries to the head and neck, but the girl’s father has not been charged with any crime. The Lavaca County Sheriff's department is investigating the incident, and a grand jury will ultimately decide whether or not to press charges.

"He told me that it wasn't his intent for this individual to lose his life; he was just protecting his daughter," Sheriff Micah Harmon told Fox News after talking with the child's dad who had also placed the first call to 911.

The overall sentiment in the town of Shiner seems to be that the girl’s father was justified in his actions and that he should not be punished.

"I think he got what he deserved," said resident Lewis Mcall. The below video, from CNN, revealed that reporters could not find anyone in the town who thought that the girl’s father should be charged with a crime for defending his daughter:

What do you think? How far would you go to protect your children?
