Jerry Sandusky's Son Says His Father Abused Him
Jerry Sandusky's son has come forward to authorities, saying that his father abused him.
In a statement issued by his lawyer, it was revealed that the 33-year-old told authorities about the abuse and was prepared to testify on behalf of prosectuors at his father's sex abuse trial.
Matt is one of Jerry and Dottie Sandusky's six adopted children. He went to live with the family as a foster child and was adopted by them as an adult.

The statement says that he was "a victim of Jerry Sandusky's abuse," but does not go into specifics. "This has been an extremely painful experience for Matt... There will be no further comment at this time," said his lawyers.
The 68-year-old former Penn State assistant football coach is charged with 48 counts alleging that he abused 10 boys over 15 years. He is accused of having used his connection to one of the nation's premier college football programs to "groom" the boys for sexual relationships.

Shortly after Sandusky's arrest in November, Matt's ex-wife went to court to keep her former father-in-law away from their three young children. Jill Jones successfully obtained a restraining order forbidding the children from sleeping over at their grandparents' home.
