New York Toddler Picks Million Dollar Lotto Ticket

New York Toddler Picks Million Dollar Lotto Ticket

Talk about good luck! One New York mom is now a millionaire, thanks to a helping hand from her toddler.

Afsheen Ahsan says she never would have purchased a scratch-off lottery ticket worth $1 million if her two-year-old daughter Anaya Hussain hadn't helped her pick it.

“She touched it,” Ahsan told NY Daily News. “If she didn’t touch it, I wouldn’t have taken it. She’s lucky.”

The 34-year-old stay at home mom was visiting her neighborhood convenience store when little Anaya put her hand on a New York Poker ticket. Ahsan says she took it as a sign - and good thing she did!

Ahsan and her boyfriend, Sayed Hussain, will receive $31,152 a year until 2031.

So what will they do with the winnings?

"I'm going on vacation, but I have no idea where," Ahsan said. "I want to start a business too, a grocery store."
