Adorable White House Duck Rescue
The Secret Service showed their softer side on Wednesday, when they reunited a duck with her little ducklings.
Operation "Quack Quack" (we made this name up) went into full effect after a family of ducks got separated by the White House perimeter. Mother duck squeezed throughout the fence, but her babies were too small to make it up the step and got trapped outside.
White House security assessed the scene and sprang into action. First they tried to make a ramp for the little ones to climb, and when that wasn't working, they lifted the ducklings one by one onto the lawn. Aw.
The ducks were later spotted resting happily in the grass.
