For the past few years, every time someone typed in "miserable failure" into Google Search, the first result was a White House page containing the name "George W. Bush." Google decided to erase this as the top link for this search term. This move is part of an overall algorithm designed to put an end to such mass link pranks, usually termed bombing.
This Bush-related webpage got the top spot in the first place due to thousands of websites that decided to link this page with the term "miserable failure."

Fate finally took its course last night for Kate Gosselin when she was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. The mother of eight hadn't received great scores from the judges all season, but she seemed to skate by for weeks on the support of her loyal fans.
She couldn't avoid the inevitable last night, however, when she got stuck in the bottom two with Pamela Anderson. Despite the fact that last night was Anderson's second time in the bottom two, she's received relatively good scores from the judges most weeks so elimination seemed unavoidable for poor Kate...

Former reality TV star and Season 12 "Bachelor" winner, Shayne Lamas (daughter of Lorenzo Lamas), got hitched in Vegas last night. She met her hubby, Nik Richie (the guy behind the sleazy website TheDirty.com) on Saturday night and for some reason, they decided to get married at the Little White Wedding Chapel about 24-hours later. Apparently, they ordered a wedding package that cost $519 and included 36 photos and a DVD copy of the ceremony. Classy. It seems like this union will go the way of Britney Spears' and Jason Alexander's 55-hour marriage in 2004.
Wonder what...
