"We don't want to promote this cartoon by importing the toys," an official at the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults told the AP. Bart, Homer and the rest of the gang join Barbie on the nation's no-buy list.
PETA has once again revealed themselves to be idiots of the highest caliber. If you remember shortly they decided to attack Nintendo for the evisceration of Japanese Raccoons, (on the grounds that there is no other way Mario could get a Raccoon costume). Well this time they have filed a federal suit against the United States claiming that Sea World is violating Shamu's civil rights, notably the 13th which bans slavery.
How many good deeds did you do last year? A 30-year-old man from Chicago made an inspirational resolution this year, pledging to do at least one a day - and since it's a leap year, that adds up to 366 good deeds. "It was a New Year's Resolution," Ryan Garcia told reporters. "I have a newborn daughter who is four months old and I just want to set a great example for her. So every day this year I'm going to do a different random act of kindness."
Prosecutors in Michigan issued a second felony charge today against a man who told police that he deliberately infected "thousands" of young men and women with HIV. While your electronic accessories don't define you as a person, there are always ways that a gadget can show off your unique style. This is true whether you're a career-driven working mom with a Blackberry glued to your hand, or a free spirited artist with your well-worn Nook bearing the paint smudges of your latest work. Or maybe you just like to match your iPad with your outfit.
This week, instead of just watching TV or mindlessly browsing on your laptop, why not try something new that the whole family can do together? Board games are great way to get everyone involved. Even moody teenagers will eventually have a good time once they get into the game! In my family, we used to have poker nights and gamble vast quantities of pennies. The winner would walk away with pride and about $5. But if gambling isn't in the cards for your family, here are a few super-fun games to try out:
UCLA head football coach Rick Neuheisel has been given the boot after a crushing 50-0 defeat at the hands of their hometown rivals, USC. The decision, which is effective following the Pac-12 Championship game, comes as no surprise to many after the past four underwhelming seasons. But it seems that Saturday was the straw that broke the camel's back. The school suffered its worst loss since 1930, in a game where the Bruins did not score a single touchdown.

So it might surprise you to learn that many people believe the characters of SpongeBob SquarePants are based on the less sunny aspects of humanity. Sound skeptical? Well it's true!

Everyone panicked as they realized they had completely forgotten it. Then the father looked for his wallet to get some money, but he had misplaced it. In the end, he borrowed twenty dinars from her uncle and offered it to the groom's father, who accepted it.
