 Celeb mommies Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba walked the red carpet together at the Tribeca Film Festival. Both Hollywood mommies looked amazing -- want to know what they're wearing?  Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba held hands while walking the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York in support of their movie "The Killer Within." Kate wore a mini-dress by Louis Vuitton with Brian Atwood heels, retro hair and red lips, and Jessica Alba looked gorgeously bohemian in a white sheer Chloe ensemble with strappy black heels and gorgeous clutch.  Stripes are all the rage for Spring. Get the look for less!
Celeb mommies and fashionistas Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Demi Moore are all dressing up their black and white stripes. Hurray - no longer are stripes restricted to daytime casual!  These celebs prove just how classic and elegant black and white stripes can be, whether at a cocktail party or red carpet event. Jennifer rocks a ¾ length sleeve striped tunic over leggings, Sarah Jessica wears a cute all-over striped dress with different width stripes, while Demi opts for a black one-shoulder, belted silk dress with just a touch of diagonal white stripes. Just remember, if you’re going to wear dressy black and white stripes, don’t go too crazy with accessories – the dress is a statement piece in itself!

 Mom on the go Katie Holmes was spotted looking fab and fresh, as always. The mom is always busy with her 4-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise. Suri recently turned 4, on April 18th. With such a fashionista for a Mom, Suri is also always looking cute and hip.

Gosselin Kids Cleared for Mom's New Show

 It looks like we'll officially be seeing the Gosselin twins and sextuplets on their mommy's new show "Kate Plus 8". "Each child is individually permitted, and they need to be renewed every six months," said spokesman Troy Thompsom of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
While the Gosselins and show producers have maintained that the kids' appearances on the show did not merit work permits, the state of Pennsylvania deemed them necessary since their participation was considered to be work.
Pennsylvania labor officials decided that while the Gosselins violated child labor laws in the filming of "Jon and Kate Plus 8", they would not be penalized as long as they complied with the rules for future shows. The state's Bureau of Labor Law Compliance concluded the kids were not mistreated during the taping of "Jon & Kate Plus 8."
Recently Jon Gosselin has filed for a new court order regarding custody of his 9-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets, claiming that his former wife is putting her career efforts ahead of her children and that she is unfairly denying them time with him.
But Kate defended her busy schedule -- one that includes "Dancing With the Stars", her book tour, and preparations for a new show on TLC. "I'm a working mom, I'm single and I have to provide for my kids," she said. "No pun intended, but the show must go on."

How Many Languages Can Salma Hayek's Two-Year-Old Speak?

 At two-years-old, Salma Hayek's daughter can already speak more languages than most people learn to speak in a lifetime. Valentina Paloma Pinault is already tri-lingual, Salma says.
"She speaks three languages,” the actress told PEOPLE at the A Bid to Save the Earth Green Auction. Salma's hubby, French business man François-Henri Pinault added, “She’s [speaking] fluently — English, Spanish and French. She can have a conversation.” What a huge advantage it is to be able to speak three prominent languages. Hayek is getting a language lesson too! Her hubby states, "It’s amazing how fast it comes. She’s teaching French to her mother.”
Salma's daughter is very sharp in other areas as well. Little Valentina is already drawing up a storm! Hayek explains, “She draws faces now. The eyes, nose and the mouth … she tries different ones.”
With a business savvy French dad and a talented and beautiful Mexican Mom, Valentina is sure to make some waves in the world.
If only all our families were as cultured as Salma's....

Sandra Bullock's Sis Sets the Record Straight

 Sandra Bullock's little sis is coming to her defense. Gesine Bullock-Prado is shooting down rumors that Sandra spent Easter with her siblings in New England, PEOPLE reports.
Bullock-Prado has her own blog, Confections of a (Closet) Master Baker, where she has been disarming tabloid rumors. It was impossible, she said, for Sandra to be with her during the holiday, since she and her hubby were celebrating Easter and their anniversary together. She adds, "But wait, apparently I'm able to time travel," given the stories "reported that my husband of eleven years and I took my sister to some inn (which shall remain nameless because they've gotten enough free publicity from lying up to now) for Easter dinner."
Why is she speaking out? Because she is "deadly serious about my family, their privacy and even the most benign fictions printed about them."
Good for her. I would do the same for my sis in an instant- only I would not be as tactful.
Sandra's sis' reports come after Entertainment Tonight noticed Sandra out and about sans wedding ring last week.
Good. Jesse gives me the creeps. Right?

Tiger and Elin Now Continents Apart

In one of the first few public outings since his sex scandal broke out in November, Tiger was last spotted Monday in Florida, attending a Nickelback concert and partying with his friends.
In the meantime, Elin has gone back to Sweden with their two children, Sam and Charlie. Guess if you’re enough of a star or want to get far away from Tiger, you can bypass the volcanic ash which has grounded most European and Scandinavian flights.
Elin may be staying in the $2.2 million Stockholm estate that she purchased last year. The estate is on a very large plot of land, includes four houses, and a private beach. There is no doubt that she would want to get away from Tiger and the media for a while – and what a perfect place to hide out!
No reports on when she will be returning to the states.

 Get ready, brides-to-be! Your dream may have just come true. Well, at least as far as the dress is concerned.
ModernMom Vera Wang is designing affordable wedding gowns. Yes, you heard correctly. The infamous designer who has created gowns for Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Sharon Stone, Uma Thurman, Ivanka Trump and yes, Carrie Bradshaw, could design your next gown.
According to InStyle, the designer is partnering with David's Bridal to create a line of gorgeous and affordable wedding gowns. Instead of the upwards of $15,000 that a custom Vera Wang gown costs, these gowns will be under $1,500!
Vera Wang told WWD, “At David’s I think I will be able to bring a taste level. I’ve been doing this for 20 years in September…what is the point if I can’t share all this work [via] a brand that is reliable and credible to people.”
Vera has been married to Arthur Becker since 1989. The couple have two daughters: Cecilia and Josephine. I wonder who will design their wedding gowns? Lucky girls!

 The 38-year-old Borat star and the 34-year-old Confessions of a Shopaholic star appear to be expecting their second child.
The couple is quite private and have not yet addressed this issue in the media, but photos have surfaced of Isla Fisher with a very noticeable baby bump recently strolling in West Hollywood.
The lovebirds recently tied the knot in a low-key Jewish ceremony in Paris. They already have one daughter, Olive, who was born in 2007.
Despite the stars' busy personal lives, Sacha is set to film The Invention of Huge Cabret and Isla has just finished filming Burke and Hare.
We love this comedic couple and wish them well!

 Jennifer Garner celebrated her 38th birthday in style this weekend. Her party was at her Pacific Palisades home, which she shares with hubby Ben Affleck.
The mom of two definitely knows how to celebrate in style. Jen and Ben have two little ones: Violet, 4 and Seraphina, 1.
The party drew in an A-list guest list. According to PEOPLE, Reese Witherspoon and her beau, agent Jim Toth, came to celebrate with Reese's daughter Ava and son Deacon.
According to PEOPLE, other stars joining in the party included Molly Sims, Jason Bateman with wife Amanda Anka, Tobey Maguire with Jen Meyer, Don Cheadle, Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Favreau and Laurence Fishburne.
Wow, you can bet that was a fun bash!
