Judge Mitchell Beckloff ruled Monday that Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother, be granted temporary guardianship of Michael Jackson's three children, Michael Jackson Jr., 12, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, 11, and Prince Michael Jackson, 7.

According to Joe Jackson, the children are enjoying playing with other kids at their house since they were never really around kids before. "We're going to take care of them and give them the education they're supposed to have," he said. "We can do that."

Mrs. Jackson also petitioned to be administrator of her son's estate. Although the filing did not estimate the late Michael Jackson's estate.

Debbie Rowe, the mother of the older children, gave up parental rights in 2001, but an appeals court later ruled that her rights were improperly terminated. But at this time, there has been no indication that Rowe is trying to gain custody of the children.

The mother of Prince Michael was never publicly identified.

Autopsy results were inconclusive according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office. Toxicology results will take four to six weeks but may shed some light on the cause of death.

I'm glad the children are with their grandma.

 

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick show off their twin girls, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell, for the first time.

The twins were born via surrogate on June 22nd. The picture also shows big brother James Wilkie, 6.5.

Ugly Betty's Ana Ortiz and her husband, musician Noah Lebenzon, welcomed their daughter, Paloma Louise Lebenzon on Saturday, according to PEOPLE.

The baby girl was born at 4:25 pm in New York City. She weighed 7 lbs, 10 oz.

According to Ana's rep, Ana is "elated and completely glowing. She is surrounded by her friends and family and so happy to be a mom. She is just really enjoying the moment. The baby is absolutely beautiful."

Michael Jackson, the Superstar, is survived by three children, Prince Michael II (Blanket), 7, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael, 12. The Jackson family attorney, Brian Oxman, tells USmagazine.com that they are staying with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson and are "in the care of a nanny."

Oxman continues to say the children are "...well-trained, well-educated and extraordinarily talented. They get to play with their cousins and their nieces and nephews. They are just smarter than smart can be".

He stated that "Ms. Jackson will care for them and I'm sure there will be all kinds of discussions that will take place about the kids." Paris and Prince Michael were born during Jackson's brief marriage to Debbie Rowe through artificial insemination while the identity of Prince Michael Jackson II's mother was never revealed.

Jackson's family members are shocked and trying to cope with this tragic and sudden loss. Oxman was with Jackson's mother Katherine, brothers Randy and Jermaine, and sister LaToya, at the hospital for a vigil.

Our thoughts continue to go out to the family of Michael Jackson, especially his children.

The multiple Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated actress, Farrah Fawcett, died Thursday after a long fight with cancer. She was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006.

The cancer went into remission, came back and then finally this year it spread to her liver. She stopped treaments in May.

Her cancer struggle was documented in the NBC documentary "Farrah's Story."

Best known for her role in "Charlies's Angels," Farrah is survived by her partner, actor Ryan O'Neal, and her son, Redmond O'Neal, 24. 

I'm so sad. And, Ryan even proposed to her a few days ago... 

 

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's twin girls were born via their surrogate yesterday, according to local news reports in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

A spokesperson for the East Ohio Regional Hospital tells PEOPLE "everything's good."

“The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon,” according to a statement by the couple.

The babies names are Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick who weighed 5 lbs, 11oz, and Tabitha Hodge Broderick, weighing in at exactly 6 lbs.

Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, have a 6 1/2 year old son James. The couple have been married for 12 years.

Jon and Kate Gosselin made a big announcement on their TLC reality show Monday night.

"Kate and I have decided to separate," announced Jon. "It's just not good for us to be arguing in front of our kids. We can't be cordial with one another." Kate was more emotional when she said "My goal is peace. If peace needs to be brought about by this, then I'm in agreement."

While Jon said he is excited about starting a new chapter in his life and has been checking out apartments in New York City, Kate says, "... I will continue to be here, be with the kids, do the same things I've always done with them."

So, what do y'all think about Jon moving out, doing who knows what with 23-year-old Deanna Hummel, while Kate stays in the house with her 8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets?

Rachel Griffiths, star of Brothers and Sisters, added a new daughter to her brood.

Her rep confirms to PEOPLE that a little girl was born to Griffiths and hubby Andrew Taylor.

The couple has a daughter Adelaide Rose, 3, and a son Banjo Patrick, 5.

Matthew McConaughey announced to the world on his personal web page on Father's Day that he is going to be a father again! The 39-year-old actor wrote:

"Happy Father's Day. It's my first, and the last 11 months with Levi and Camila have been the most rewarding adventure to date. We have more blessed news to celebrate this Father's Day that [will] make this time next year double the fun. Levi is going to be a big brother... Yeah, we pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time, Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows... just keep livin, Matthew and Camila."

Super model Gisele Bundchen and NFL quarterback Tom Brady are expecting their first child together, according to PEOPLE.The Brazilian beauty, 28, married the 31-year-old New England Patriots star in a private ceremony in Santa Monica, CA earlier this year.

Brady also has an almost two-year-old son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

Their representatives have refused to comment, saying that they do not comment on the personal lives of their clients.  Unnamed sources close to the couple have revealed that the baby is due in early 2010.

No doubt the couple will have one beautiful (and tall!) baby.  Can't wait!
