Rascal Flatts bassist Jay DeMarcus, 39, is expecting his first child in January with wife Allison. Allison is a presenter on CMT and former Miss Tennessee.
“I’m looking forward to hearing the pitter-patter of little feet around the house and all of that wonderful stuff,” DeMarcus reveals to People magazine. “I’m most looking forward to making wonderful memories - the first days of school, summertime with them, taking them to Disney World. I’m ready to be a father!” Jay admits that he and his wife tried to get pregnant for several years, but it finally happened after they stopped trying so hard. “I just want a healthy baby, so it doesn’t matter if it’s a boy or a girl,” says DeMarcus. “But I would like to have a little boy if I had a say in it! I’d teach him how to play bass and piano and sing!” Jay is heading out on vacation Wednesday to pamper Allison and celebrate their joyful news. Lucky gal! Looks like a new country baby is on the way – yeehaw!

Last week, A-list mom Nicole, 43, and country singer hubby Keith, 42, shared a romantic meal at their favorite Nashville restaurant (Flyte) where they celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. They cozied up to each other in an intimate corner of the restaurant and were described as a “delight” by observers and restaurant staff.
On June 20, they also had a joint celebration for Nicole's 43rd birthday as well as for Father’s Day. Another birthday celebration is coming up when their child, Sunday Rose, turns 2 on July 7. Ah, wedded bliss. This is the kind of stuff we'd like to see more of in the media - rather than all the divorces, the abuses, and the Twitter wars between celeb couples.

Power duo Angelina, 35, and Brad, 46, have already built up a large family of 6 kids, but it’s probably not going to get a whole lot bigger. Angelina is concerned that if she has more children, then she might not have enough time to devote to each child.
When asked if she wanted to add another bundle of joy to her clan, Angelina told Vanity Fair, "We're not opposed to it. But we want to make sure we can give everybody special time." She says that it’s easy to care for children when they are small, but the hard part is when they get older and need a lot of emotional support. "We want to make sure we don't build a family so big that we don't have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well."
Angelina admits she doesn’t know how much longer she will continue to act because she wants to spend more time in her “happy home.” When asked if she is considering finally tying the knot to Brad, Angelina says she is not totally opposed but adds "it's just like we already are [married]. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment [than marriage]. It's for life."

Last December was truly an eye-opener for Kendra, E! reality star and former playboy bunny. She became a mommy after giving birth to son Hank Basset IV, with her football player husband of the same name. But she not only gained a son, she gained a few sizes. Her tight, toned size 2 figure changed drastically.
Kendra admits, “My curves shocked me big-time. It was a whole other woman I was looking at in the mirror.”
While Kendra is enjoying her new womanly curves, she’s working hard to tone back up a bit. And she’s doing it the old-fashioned way: working out and eating healthier. Kendra says, “Cardio for me is number one. I need the cardio because I can tone my body, but I gotta burn the fat off!”
Her post-pregnancy weight came as a huge shock because, as she says, “I was so used to being fit and skinny…I never had to lose weight until now. I want my muscle back–I don’t want anything jiggling.” See, it’s never easy to lose that post-baby weight, even if you’re a celebrity! Ok, maybe it makes it a little easier.

During her trip to South Africa last week, expecting mom Alicia Keys and rapper/producer fiancé Swiss Beatz received a blessing for their baby. Alicia and her unborn baby were given Zulu names during the traditional blessing ritual as they stood under a fig tree, believed by the locals to have healing powers. During the trip, Alicia performed at the World Cup’s opening night with John Legend and the Black Eyed Peas. Additionally, she and her fiancé did charity work for a neighboring village that the couple hopes to help rebuild. Have you seen this hot couple? Can't wait to see how gorgeous this baby is going to be! Many blessings to this generous and beautiful couple for a healthy baby and happy marriage!

Katherine, 31-year-old star of the new flick "Killers", admits it’s hard to balance work and new motherhood, even with a nanny! Heigl and hubby Josh Kelley recently adopted Naleigh, now 18-months-old, from South Korea. After completing her work on "Killers", Katherine left "Grey’s Anatomy" and is focusing on being a full-time mom, for now. “I had no idea what I was in for,” she admits to the Telegraph, “people will tell you how hard it is, but you have no idea until you experience it.” Katherine admits that she’s worried about when she goes back to work because it’s hard to separate from her daughter. We can relate...

Thirty-eight-year old fashion designer Stella McCartney and publisher husband Alasdhair Willis are expecting their fourth child in late fall.
The couple married in 2003 and are already parents to sons Miller, 5, and Beckett, 2, and daughter Bailey, age 3. Four kids under the age of 5 – Oh my!
Stella certainly knows about growing up in the limelight – her father is Beatles legend Paul McCartney. Surely, she will be able to keep her growing family from getting too absorbed in the media frenzy.
Congrats!

Kyra and hubby Kevin Bacon are preparing for their second child, 18-year-old Sosie Ruth, to go off to college in the fall. Their son, 21-year-old Travis, has been out of the house for a few years already as he begins his senior year at college this fall.
Kyra and Kevin’s empty nest is rapidly approaching. They will have only each other in the house – a huge transition for all parents.
Kyra, the 44-year-old star of The Closer, plans on cherishing every moment with her daughter before she leaves. She tells MORE Magazine, “I don’t make plans on weekday evenings in case I can spend time with her. It’s pathetic; I don’t care.”
She wants as much quality mother-daughter time as she can get, even delaying production on The Closer for a few weeks. But who can blame her?

Angelina Jolie does a tremendous amount of humanitarian work. She's even supporting World Refuge Day, which falls on Father's Day, June 20th. The gorgeous mom is UNHCR's Goodwill Ambassador and World Refuge Day began in 2001 and is a day of remembrance for the 40 million people that have been forced to flee their homes to escape persecution. This year's theme is "home", an appropriate theme especially on Father's Day. What does your home mean to you? Imagine if you had to leave it all behind...
If you can't figure anything out for Father's Day, you can always make a donation to the UNHCR on his behalf.
