Angelina Jolie Sparks Concerns at the Oscars - Is She Too Thin?
Angelina Jolie showed up to the Oscars last night in a dazzling black Atelier Versace gown, but it was her gaunt physique that has sparked the most commentary.
The 36-year-old actress looked extremely thin on the red carpet - especially her arms.
Twitter was buzzing with fans and supporters concerned about Jolie's health.
"Angelina Jolie is beautiful but she needs a lil' more meat on those bones!" wrote Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks.
TMZ posted a shot of the actress presenting the award for Best Adapted Screenplay with the caption " "INCREDIBLY skinny ... too skinny ... alarmingly skinny."
Jolie also caught a little flak for an odd pose while on stage that prominently displayed her right leg through the slit in her dress.
Not only did "The Descendants" screenwriter Jim Rash poke a little fun at the actress by striking a similar pose during his moment on stage, but "Angie's right leg" now has its own Twitter account - with more than 12,000 followers.
