Johnny Depp Talks About Holiday Plans

Johnny Depp revealed his holidays plans Tuesday night, telling Extra he will be, "hanging out with the kiddies. Wait for Santa Claus."

Johnny has two children Lily-Rose, 8, and Jack, 5, with girlfriend, French actress Vanessa Paradis, 35.

He and his family may have more to celebrate than Christmas this year. Critics have raved that Johnny gives an Oscar-caliber performance in âSweeney Toddâ (out Dec. 21). Johnny, however, doesn't pay much attention to reviews, telling Extra: âThey say my job is done on the film,â says the star, 44. âIt's none of my business what happens after that."

Also celebrating this December are âSweeney Toddâ director Tim Burton, 49, and his girlfriend Helena Bonham-Carter, 41, who co-stars with Johnny in the film. Tim and Helena are expecting the arrival of their second child later this month, who will join their son, Billy Ray, 4. The couple, who famously share separate, but attached houses, have a very different take on what constitutes holiday decorating, Helena revealed to Playboy in its January issue. "[Tim] decorates [the Christmas tree] with dead babies and slime balls and things," Helena said. "It looks lovely and glittery from afar, and then as you get closer, you realize it's rather gory."

Helena concedes that despite the creepy Christmas decorations, she and her boyfriend of six years are not all that dark. âWhat I love about Tim is that he retains a certain innocence and a childlike quality. He sort of forgot to grow up. I think I've definitely forgotten to grow up, which is great."
