Jessica Simpson has some super surprising Halloween news… she’s pregnant!
Oh wait, we sort of already knew that.
The 31-year-old singer and fashion designer has been the subject of pregnancy rumors for the past few weeks – mostly because of her incredibly obvious baby bump.
Today she took to Twitter to confirm what might have been the worst-kept secret in Hollywood.
“!!!ANNOUNCEMENT!!!” she tweeted along with a link to a post on her website that read “It’s true – I’m going to be a mummy!” She also posted a photo of herself dressed up for Halloween as a mummy! Get it?
It will be the first child for Simpson, who is engaged to former NFL football player Eric Johnson. The couple has been together since November of last year.
Say what you will, but we love Jessica Simpson. She’s sweet, genuine and endearingly goofy – and we think she’s going to be a terrific mom!
