One Day at a Time star Bonnie Franklin passed away Friday due to complications from pancreatic cancer. She was 69 years old.
The spunky redhead - best known for her role as divorced mom Ann Romano on the long-running sitcom - announced in September that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
She is survived by her mother, Claire Franklin, and stepchildren Jed Minoff and Julie Minoff, according to the Los Angeles Times.
One Day at a Time aired on CBS from 1975-1984. Franklin co-starred in the series along with Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli, who played her teenage daughters.
