The 35-year-old singer is working with UNICEF, requesting donations rather than baby gifts for her unborn son.

Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John was born Friday in Los Angeles, and weighed in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces. The baby joins big brother Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, 2.

A rep for the former talk show host confirmed that the baby was born on January 5, and weighed in at 5 pounds, 5 ounces. " Moms and baby are happy and healthy."
