Kristen: Exercise and Feeling Sexy: The Yin-Yang of Sex
Working out has improved many areas of my life but particularly my sex life (my husband is going to kill me!).
For me, self-confidence and feeling sexy are an important part of sex. Therefore, FEELING sexy begets sex.
At 45 years old, I've finally identified that the key to my overall happiness and well being is exercise. I've found that when I DONT exercise for extended periods of time, the domino effect that ensues is a vicious cycle.
In a nutshell: Lower endorphin levels = Weight gain = Poor body image = My self-confidence plummets = Bye bye, sex drive
The negative effects of not exercising are far-reaching for me, and when I don't feel sexy, I give off the vibe that I'm not.
Needless to say, when Brooke told me that a 60 minute workout was just 4% of a my day, it put everything in perspective.
