Getting and staying fit seems like a difficult task - but all it requires is a simple basic commitment to yourself. This summer, I am training extra hard and developing my next 2 DVD programs. I have invited my girlfriends to join me in getting in the best shape of our lives.
It’s going to be intense, but we are rallying together and plan to support each other along this journey.
As with many slim downs, there are two key elements to this six week program: WORKOUT and a HEALTHY EATING PLAN.
1. Muscle-targeted workouts 3 times a week - I am planning on using my DVD workouts.
2. Cardio workouts 3 times a week - This can be any type of cardio you like to do!
Whatever your fitness preference, make it happen 45 minutes a day, 6 days per week. The trick is to never let working out become a chore. Try mixing it up by going on a hike, trying a new class or investing in some new workout DVDs if you can’t get out of the house and away from the kids. Intense sweat and exercise are an essential part of this 6 week program.
I will be hiking, dancing, trying out some new classes and incorporating cardio into my DVD series. If you decide to embark on this 6 week journey, know that you are not alone!

HEALTHY EATING PLAN
I truly believe what you put into your body is an equal part of this slim down. This six week slim down is not about starving yourself! It is about consuming healthy, delicious recipes that nurture your body. My friends and I have tons of great recipes to share with you every day and I would love for you to share yours as well!

Lean meat, fish, chicken, sushi, delicious salads, crunchy veggies, beans, nuts, healthy shakes, colorful berries, soups, quinoa, lentils, snap peas, fennel, kale and tons of unique recipes.
