My 11 month old is very fussy when eating..like he is starved!?

My little boy just turned 11 months yesterday. For the past couple months, he has consistently been very fussy when eating. Not that he doesnt want to eat, it is like he cant get it fast enough. He can be perfectly fine and will start fussing the second I put him in the highchair. He is a little picky about vegggies, but is overall a good eat + has used a sippy cup for snacks since 6 months. (We just started giving him one for lunch.)

He only calms down when he gets full. This is for every meal + snacks, which he alternated every 2 hours. I have even tried giving him a snack an hour before dinner and not change. And yes, he does have all his meals with us. We are at our wits end...any ideas?

Hello~~~~ Your little boy sounds so much like my grandson, Gavin who is now 3 yrs, old (58lbs), he weighs more than his older brother Gage, 5 yrs old. People have asked if the boys are twins. LOL My granddaughter, Emily was the heaviest at birth at 10lbs 9oz. ~~Gavin was the smallest at birth at 7lbs 6oz. Gavin, when he was at the toddler stage, was ALWAYS hungry , he would eat ever hour to 1 1/2. 1 scrambled egg & 1/2 piece toast= 1 meal..... grapes (cut in 1/2) & cooked carrots & juice= 1 meal..... shredded chicken & green beans & bottle= 1 meal..... As you see,he didn't like baby food. In other words, don't let your sweetie get over-hungry ,because he could just stuff himself to the point of choking , you write "For the past couple months" ~~~ This is kinda-of part of this, my oldest daughter, Jennifer (the mother of the above grandkids) when she was a teen , I could always tell when she was going through a 'growth spurt' because she would eat everything in the fridge. There were times I wouldn't even get a taste of the juice in the container. I would tease her once in a bit ,asking her, "well if going to eat everything in the fridge at least lick the sides and the shelves so the fridge is clean" She would also grow about 1to 2 inches. Also just as it started , she would just seemed to stop eating. I truely hope this helps you ,I just think you should let your child eat at their time not at the tradtional eating times. God Bless !
