Was this fair? I was asked to pick my daughter up from day care...?

My daughter is getting some of her teeth so she has a runny nose. I had to pick her up from her day care a little while ago because the day care provider said her nose was "too" runny and she was getting snot all over everything. My daughter is 2 and has a tendency to wipe her nose on things, like the couch and throw pillows and pretty much anything she can get her hands on when she has a runny nose. I can understand that she doesn't want snot all over her stuff, I do not either but couldn't she just wipe her nose more often so that didn't happen instead of asking me to come and get her? She is not "sick", I don't take her to day care sick, she just has a runny nose and her little cheeks are very red which is very common with her when she is getting teeth. What is your opinion on this? My day care charges a weekly fee whether the kids are there or not so I will be paying for this day even though she was only there a couple hours.
